2025 Craft Brewers Conference - Turn It Up Media Indy Events

Connect face to face with industry leaders (and share a beer or three) with us at the Craft Brewers Conference. Turn It Up will be at CBC supporting our clients with Chad Melis on the ground along with Helen Anderson who will be speaking Tuesday, April 29, about Modern Media Relations (2:15pm in Wabash Ballroom). Below is a list of client events and other happenings that we plan to/recommend you to attend.

Sunday, April 27

5-8 pm – Schlafly Beer Pre-CBC Pizza Party – Bazbeaux –TIU won’t be in town just yet, but we dig 

Schlafly, which is HQed in Helen’s hometown St. Louis and is bringing one special keg of Tasmanian IPA to Indiana just for CBC).

Monday, April 28

4-6pm – All About Beer Podcasts – Sun King Brewery – All About Beer will be recording live from 

the taproom; Check out John Holl’s recent podcast with Dave Colt, Sun King co-founder, CEO, and brewmaster on the flight to Indy. At 5pm, the taproom is also hosting an F1 party with the HAAS Pit Crew. 

5-9pm – Blake’s Beverage Tap Takeover – Ale Emporium – Our friends at Blake’s Beverage 

Company and Blake’s Hard Cider are bringing the industry’s most inventive flavor combinations to Indy. Meet the Blake’s team and sip some cider with the Turn It Up crew. 

6-8pm – CBC Welcome Reception – Lucas Oil Stadium – Ticketed event. Register with the BA. 

6-8pm – CBC Pink Boots Member Meetup – Kismetic Beer Company – Pink Boots Society 

members get a free drink, but registration in advance is required. 

Tuesday, April 29

11am-12pm – CBC PANEL: Building THC Into Your Business – Sagamore Ballroom 3 – Two Turn 

It Up clients and THC beverage makers are joining this panel discussion, Ryan Bandy, Chief Business Officer of Indeed Brewing Company, and Rob Pero, founder of the Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association and Canndigenous.

1:15-2:15pm – CBC PANEL: Opening New Locations Successfully – Room 122 – Check out 

Wesley Keegan, founder and sole owner of Tennessee’s fastest growing brewery and TIU client TailGate Brewery, giving a presentation about growth opportunities for craft breweries in a complex craft beer landscape. TailGate has opened six new locations in the past two years across Tennessee. 

4-6pm – All About Beer Podcasts – Sun King Brewery – Em Sauter (Pints and Panels) and Don Tse

5pm – Sun King Brewery CBC Collaboration Night – Sun King Brewery – 13 epic collaboration

Wednesday, April 30

Wabash Ballroom 2 – Our Media Relations Director Helen Anderson was stoked to be invited to present at CBC for the first time by Brewbound Managing Editor Jess Infante. They are joined by Kate Bernot of Sighlines and Liz Tarry of TailGate Brewery! Join us to get tips and tricks for maximizing the impact of your media relationships.

Thursday, May 1

1:30-2:30pm – CBC PANEL: B-ing the Change you Want to See – Wabash Ballroom 2 – Adeline 

Druart, CEO of B Corp Certified brewery Lawson’s Finest joins a panel of thought leaders from B Labs, Allagash Brewing Company, and Brewery Vivant. There are only about 20 B Corp breweries in the US, find out why and how to join them during this panel discussion. 

5-7:30pm – World Beer Cup Awards – Exhibit Hall J&K – You need a ticket to catch the awards.
