Can’d Aid and Steep Canyon Rangers to donate instruments to Mary W. Jackson Elementary


WHAT: GRAMMY Award-winning Bluegrass Band, Steep Canyon Rangers, surprises students with brand new instruments. The band, Can’d Aid TUNES Ambassadors, will also perform a few songs, provide a hands-on music workshop and answer questions for the students.

WHEN: 12:30 - 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3

WHERE: Mary W. Jackson Elementary School (750 W 200 N, Salt Lake City, UT 84116)

MEDIA OPP: Media are invited to attend the donation event. A representative from the Can’d Aid and Steep Canyon Rangers will be available for interviews.

WHY: Can’d Aid is a national nonprofit that has created a movement which rallies people to become catalysts for change in their communities. To date, they have donated nearly 3,000 instruments and hosted 65 educational music workshops at underserved public schools across the country.
