WHAT: Can’d Aid is partnering with Seagate to build 225 skateboards to be donated to kids at Margaret Allen Middle School, John Early Middle School, and Bethlehem Centers of Nashville.
WHEN: Feb 16, 2-4pm
WHERE: Hutton Hotel, 1808 W End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203
MEDIA OPP: Media are invited to attend the socially-distanced skateboard build. A representative from the hosting organizations Can'd Aid and Seagate Technology will be available for interviews.
WHY: Children average 7 hours of screen time per day and only 1 in 5 gets the daily recommended amount of exercise. Through its Treads + Trails program, Can’d Aid helps combat these troubling statistics. Can’d Aid has donated more than 2,000 bikes and skateboards nationally to students in the past year. At a time when our nation’s youth are experiencing extreme levels of anxiety, depression and mental health issues, Can’d Aid’s programs provide healthy and active outlets for underserved and at-risk children across the country. CONTACT: Please RSVP to Can'd Aid founder and executive director Diana Ralston
