The team behind Tennessee’s fastest growing brewery is raising a glass to a decade of boundary-pushing beer and pizza

NASHVILLE, Feb. 4, 2025 – Raise a glass of TailGate Orange with TailGate Brewery, Tennessee's fastest-growing brewery and pizzeria, in celebration of its 10th anniversary this month. Since 2014, TailGate Brewery has expanded into nine welcoming locations, all offering quality, boundary-pushing beer, pizza and friendly service. Offering 100% paid healthcare and industry-leading benefits, TailGate Brewery is a Top Workplace as voted by its 250+ team members.

"We set out to be the best brewery in Tennessee, and a decade later, that mission is still at the heart of everything we do,” said Wesley Keegan, founder and sole owner of TailGate Brewery. Built on the foundation of innovation, community and being a great place to work, TailGate Brewery opened its ninth location in 2024, its sixth new location to open in just two years.

Keegan was recently featured in the annual Imbibe 75, a prestigious list of the beverage industry’s most influential players, to highlight TailGate Brewery’s industry-leading, people-first culture and robust benefits packages. TailGate Brewery was also named a Top Workplace by The Tennessean for the second year in a row in 2024, a distinctive honor for the people-first company.

TailGate Brewery ranks nationally for its diversity of innovation, brewing over 300 recipes a year. Brews span a wide range of styles, from the traditional, German-inspired biers of their Lager Projekt, to barrel-aged specialty brews like Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial PB&J Milk Stout, and a new rotating juicy IPA series, Wizards’ Order, that launched in 2024. These seasonal brews and TailGate’s longtime and fan-favorite flagship TailGate Orange are available at retailers across Tennessee.

“Every time you drink a TailGate beer you’re not only getting the best our team has to offer, but also helping our team bring their very best every day,” said Wesley Keegan, TailGate Brewery’s sole owner and original founder. “I believe you show your appreciation by paying people great. The fact that we’ve been able to grow in Tennessee while keeping our promise to our team shows that putting people first just works.”

TailGate Brewery’s inventive food menu features the popular Detroit-style pizza and rotating Pizza of the Month. Pizza aficionados can enjoy a constantly updated pizza menu with out-of-the-box options like Cacio e Pepe pizza, made with creamy black pepper sauce and a ricotta and parmesan blend. The pizza menu is designed to perfectly complement the diverse beer selection.

10th anniversary celebrations kick off all day at the original Headquarters location on Saturday, February 22. Visit tailgatebeer.com or follow @tailgatebrewery on social media to stay updated as to what’s on tap, upcoming events and more.
