"Turn It Up Media" Turns One Year Old!

“Turn It Up Media” Celebrates 16 Clients in The First 12 Months

July 11th, 2019 - Lyons, CO - It’s been one heck of a sweet first year at Turn It Up Media. Our funky, little marketing collective helped amplify the stories of more than 16 trailblazing brands, and we couldn’t be more excited to be working with an exceptional (and growing!) list of clients.

Over the course of the last 365 days with engaged in brand strategy with startup companies, content creation and brand expression with developing companies while we helped our PR clients earn more than 400 placements in esteemed publications like USA Today, the New York Times, Forbes, Outside Magazine, Men’s Journal, Men’s Health, Food & Wine, Paste Magazine and more.

“It’s been an inspiring ride in a short time,” said Chad Melis, Turn It Up Media’s founder, marketing strategist and husband of TIUM’s co-founder and president of creative services — Marily Melis. “From working with startups (Altered State Distillery) to a 130-year-old company (Ball Corporation) in our first year, we’ve amassed an amazing list of clients and helped provide a diversity of solutions for some really exciting brands.”

Celebrating our first year in business is even sweeter as the Turn It Up family is also celebrating our daughter Arlen’s first full spin around the sun.

Although we achieved key earned media placements in outdoor, lifestyle and wellness, and food and beverage publications, one of our most gratifying achievements during the year was throwing one big shindig during the annual Craft Brewers Conference in partnership with Ball.

The private event demonstrated market leadership for Ball and elevated the visibility of their largest customers and business partners. The world class experience drew nearly 3,000 industry influencers and was a fundraiser for the Can'd Aid Foundation. True to Ball’s mission, the event recycled over 7,000 aluminum cans and used zero plastic or glass.

Denver’s iconic Fillmore Auditorium during the Craft Brewers Conference 2019.

We also continued our philanthropic efforts serving as a founding board member of the national non-profit organization Can’d Aid and volunteering on the Beer Exhibit Advisory Committee for the History of Colorado. The “Beer Here” exhibit opened in May of 2019, will be on display through August 2020 and explores Colorado’s rich history through beer.

With one full year under our belts, we're turning the volume knob and amping up to an unforgettable second year.

We’ll continue to utilize our Build, Tell, Yell approach to help brands elevate their brand strategies.

With innovative thought and proven annual planning experience we’ll engage the intricacies of a brand and Build a thoughtful strategy to amplify brand stories and accelerate business success.

We’ll leverage our longtime, nationwide media relationships and proven communication strategies to expand your audience and Tell your brand story.

And with a distinct mix of strategists, creatives, PR professionals, copywriters, graphic designers, content creators and experiential event designers on our team, we’ll amplify the authenticity of your brand story to Yell beyond the clutter.
